Claire nodded to and turned off her communicator. She had just finished pulling one of her more clever moments but it was the execution that would decide weather or not this would work at all.
Knowing she didn’t have much time, the Redfield hurried into the back bedroom of the house she had claimed for herself and began to rummage through the few bits of clothing that had been there upon her arrival. Blue eyes scanned the pieces until she found what it was exactly that she had been looking for.
“I knew I saw you earlier….” A small ‘woop’ of success as she grabbed it, patting some dust away. The woman was unsure why a garment like this would even exist but for now, she was glad it did. A quick motion or two removed her shirt and slung it on the old bed before putting on her lucky find. A red tank top with black sides and white collar. A small Umbrella insignia on the left side of her chest gave it the authority she would need when confronting Wesker. The thing had a pair of matching hot pants but that would do her little good and while the top was worn, it’s mate was fraying and ripped.
Happy, She ran into the other room to look for anything that had belonged to the adolescent Wesker of previous. He looked like he had been freezing to death over their communicator and it would have been cruel to make him suffer. Adult Wesker? Sure, fine, he could suffer all he wanted, but this Wesker had done little to warrant such treatment. Another lucky find gave Claire a child’s fleece jacket. It was enough to tide him over until they got back here at least.
One more stop to Sunde to borrow Elena’s suit jacket and pants before she set off to wait in front of the Police Department.
Ada had promised to keep the tranny twins off her back and with any luck at all, this would work.
