It wasn't as though it was the first time, but ... being whisked away to a mysterious world wasn't the easiest thing in the world. And the first time had been so willing, diving into Darkness and being spirited into the system of corridors and paths that Sora may or may not have created. Modes of travel had been such easy things those days. Anymore, he ... missed them. Not its purpose (no, who could miss the seductive lure of darkness, really?), but their simplicity. Things he took for granted. Like home. He missed home terribly. He had just been ready to settle back down, bask in the warmth of the islands, live life like a normal kid again ... But what, really, was normal for a keybearer?
Maybe it was a better life for him, anyway. Not for Sora, though.
Tucking his hands into his pockets and beginning his endeavor from the Lux to Zelda's apartments, he knew the main stretch was up the one road. It wouldn't take him long, not when he was so unwilling to get distracted. Even just talking to Naminè quelled the ache a little, and seeing her? Well. Maybe it wasn't quite sinking in with Sora yet, given their attachment and pure strength of heart, but ... Riku missed her terribly. Naturally over thinking as he walked the stretch of that one road, it was quicker than he realized that he got spotted the collection of buildings in the near distance.
