Konan had given Kisame-san the best directions possible to ensure that he arrived soon. He had stated that he was near the river, and her directions would have led him back into town and through the tiny maze of streets to the place where she currently dwelled.
It was not a large building; only a two bedroom with a sitting room and a kitchen, and a bathroom that simply...didn't work, and was thus ignored. She assumed that Deidara and Tobi were around somewhere, possibly in their shared room or outside. It was calm enough...for the moment.
Pain had retired for the moment and Konan let him be, ready to welcome Kisame once he arrived. Judging by the last timestamp on his vocal posts, he should be nearly there, and she slowly made her way across the room towards the doorway, peering outside warily. There were few enemies who would venture into the town proper, let alone to their doorstep, but she had not lived that long to die because of a chance miscalculation.
