Doom
I saw Doom And Stay last night. Stay was sort of a modern version of Jacobs ladder. I liked everything about the movie except the shrinks pants that were never big enough. And his pimple in the beginning. Everything else in the movie though was perfect. The scene in the strip club was beautiful.
Doom was a fun cheezy movie. I laughed a lot.
I remembered when watching doom the cliche' team system that hollywood has for these movies.
In all of these movies, every team has characters with the same traits.
1. The one guy who will turn againt them
2. The "fun" guy
3. The sterio typical black guy who talks ghetto and hits on all the women
4. The black guy who doesn't talk and is there to die
5. The Religious guy
6. The Inexperianced one
7. The sexy female (who is usualy too young and pretty to have gotten the job she has)
8. The hero who is the only believable one
9. The guy who just stands in the background until he gets killed
EVERY movie.....
Do they even realize they are doing this?
Anyway, it was a fun night.
I love the song Wrong Number by the Cure. I never notied how many bands today came from them until I heard it.
