My life keeps gettin more interesting!
Well... i have come to the conclusion that i've become a gambling, drunk, gay dad! I'll explain these:
Gambling - I bought a lotto ticket with two dollars i had from the last time i went to canada at a gas station... and i actually won... no joke. I won the cost of the ticket! YES! Maybe i claim it when we come home.
Drunk - We had communion last night, and they use real wine here. It was my first alcoholic drink ever... and it was gross. It tasted like cought syrup... YUCKY!
Gay - One of the kids that i met aske me if i slept with carson. Carson said yes... and the kid replied "you're gay!"

So... last night our host family finally showed up. Carol picked us up and we rode in a BMW to the city of Durham. We drove the round-about way home and saw the cathedral and the castle in durham. They are amazing. We then we stopped at their house... which is like a mini-castle. She showed us around the house... and it is way nicer than almost any america house i've ever seen. I am so lucky... talk about roughing it! She decided to make us lasagna at about 11:30... it was really good. She is really hospitable. We went up to our room and found it fully equipped with chocolates, mints, water next to our bed, our own bathroom, a space heater, and a huge closeet. Actually, we have three showers to choose from. There is also a tv w/ a DVD player in there, but we don't use it!
Me and carson went running in gthe morning on a trail that is located behind their house. Me and carson got some itchweed on us. Then we ran into a farmer in a tractor. He gave us a wierd look. So far i've only seen two other runners here in england. We returned and showered... and she made us a breakfast with cereal, fruit, toast, eggs, beans, and bacon. It was amazing.
Today we went into the school and presented the gospel to some people... which went really good. It was so cool (mint) to talk to them. Then in the afternoon, we went to a water park with some little kids. It was comparable to the Full Blast in Battle Creek! It was fun... and it had a wave pool.
Gota go to bed... i have to get up early tomorrow to run!
