It has been like 2 years since my last obsession (Aiba Hiroki Dec '06 - Mar '07) and here I thought I was becoming more mature to care about cute Japanese guys. How wrong I was...
It was just like any other night where I'd stay up till 4am watching online videos because I have 14G of 'off' peak download which I never seem to use yet I still have to pay for it. I was entering another major bleach craze especially with Hitsugaya Toushiro and hence was youtubing and veohing every video that existed out there.
To be honest I already was aware there were Bleach Live Actions out there but was always too scared to go watch them. Why was I scared? Well, I had such high expectations on Hitsugaya Toushiro considering he's like the cutest anime/manga character EVER and believed no one could ever do his character justice because there is no one out there that is THAT cute!!! But for some strange reason that night when the video of Bleach Rock Musical popped up, when I typed 'Hitsugaya Toushiro' into the Veoh search box, I decided to click on it and watch it. It was the scene when Hinamori was attacking Shiro-chan because of the faulty letter left by the dead Aizen.
At that very moment my eyes went from o.o to O.O!!!!!!! I could not believe my eyes. The actor playing Shiro-chan completely fitted that character so perfectly. Not only did he fully embody Shiro-chan's character and adorable don't-mess-with-me-or-I'll-give-your-ass-frost-bite attitude, he was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There goes all my tiresome effort to become more mature since the end of my Aibacchi obsession. Who cares about the financial crisis when you have Nagayama Takashi s2.s2v. I could not imagine anyone more perfect than he is. Not only is he a talented actor, singer he also designs clothes (his designs look so similar to the kind of shirts that I have v^^v), writes songs (which actually sound really really good), is 1st Dan in karate and 3rd Dan in calligraphy. I mean he is capable of kicking your ass but also write beautiful calligraphy. He is so accomplished in so many areas that it makes you wonder what he'll achieve next...maybe find a cure for cancer?
Now I spend every ounce of download and time searching through the net trying to find every single infor about him. Today, I made my first Nagayan purchase online: now I am a true fan (I already have the Switch theatrical play from Japan but it's not counted because I bought it for Aiba-chan)! Now, all that's left for me to do is learn Japanese (probably will achieve it in my next life) or at least try go Japanese hospital next year for my clinical placement. I'm going to interrogate the Japanese orthoptists that come to Sydney University at the end of the year and find out if there's any English speaking Japanese hospitals or eye centres out there. Then I'll be able spend my days off stalking Nagayan all over the place and give him free eye drops.
Lol, I'd love to have Nagayan as a patient. Any excuse to look into his beautiful eyes and I would be able to use the ophthalmoscope on him (any excuse to get real close to him) and accidentally use the wrong eye to see and 'accidentally' kiss him >_>..._>...hehehe. That old ophthalmoscope trick never fails ^_
So this is the story of my newly found obsession as well as what led me to livejournal in the first place. This place is buzzing with crazy Nagayan fans and heaps of Nagayan merchandise. Hopefully I can get my Nagayan ON & OFF DVD+photobook by the beginning of April. I don't think I could wait any longer.
So, yes, NAGAYAMA TAKASHI, mark my words, I will MAKE you MINE...mwahahahahaha (I'm not crazy okay
