The trez goes sober??
Where to even begin with the past few days..?
THURSDAY (me vs you @ the bull
The evening began about 6ish upon my arrival home from work and the breaking of my first drink. Had my girls over for a mexican feast that was complimented nicely with a bottle of red, cosmopolitans and margaritas.
After dinner we made way for the bull where it was me vs bacardi. Bacardi won. Of corse I didn't know this on the night, but I sure as hell felt it in the morning.
After a hell of alot of shit talk and fun times I gave one last praise to neddy, had an awkward moment with one friend which led to another awkward moment with another friend and eventually against the will of others made my way home.
FRIDAY (karnivool @ the cambridge
With the excitement of the long awaited return of karnivool being all too much to bare, there was no sleep to be had in camp trez on this day. There was however more than enough room for that afore mentioned bacardi flavored hangover. This was but one of the many that would kick me in the arse on this day.
The drive to newcastle was long and saw the consumption of a bottle of champagne, many a jelly shots and a 6 pack of bacardi pre-mix. All things considered, I did well not to vomit. Having said that, this may not have been the case had the boys not been there to greet us upon our arrival.
Fell out of the car and said some brief hello's. It took all of me not to leap on drew excited puppy style when he finally emerged from around the corner, had i known of the conversation that was to follow it may not have been so... NAH! So always love unkie drew.
Made a point of missing Sleight of hand then made our way inside for Horsell Common. I'm really spewin I missed so much of these guys on the Roquefort tour now. Initially it was more a guilt thing cause they're all really top blokes, but I'm really digging their stuff now. Had I only known their quality back then *fist shake*. I guess had I spent a little less time getting drunk in hotel rooms I would have.
Opted for missing Behind Crimson Eyes in favor of going to get money out for new Karnivool jumper. Sculling in the rain with KO is always fun, kinda silly though, cause I did sorta wanna see BCE. Not all was lost however, Karnivool were still to come and my new jumper looked really HOT! My shirt on the other hand was briefly lost...
My boys finally took the stage and ripped through yet another ball breaking set. Setlist was as follows:

Spewin Da Reka made a return over New Day, but I kinda expected as much being that it is still very much a work in progress. No need for dispair, I'm sure it'll be back and better than ever in August.
I think I'll end the coverage of my eventful weekend there for the time being. Too sore and tired to go on. Come together shennanigans still to come.
