i guess i've said all i have to say
and my tragedy is all but spent
so with this last heartbroken dollar i'll buy
a drink i can just sip
nurse these wounds back to heath
sittin in my room by myself
it's a party thrown by a drunk
i'm just waiting for everyone to show up

and it's a big insimination
no, i mean a big celebration
when i can't just get what i want

i guess i've said all i have to say
cause ignorance is bliss
and knowledge is just sad
thats the way people certainly act
hinding behind their glass cage
or should i call it a display
act out the part you're assigned
stare at that thing till you're blind

and in the eyes of our nation
we're nothing but frustration
and we can't just get what we want.
