infrequent hair washing
I used to wash my hair every day, then I had a hairdresser who pointed out that this was unnecessary, so I tried washing every other day. It was greasy for a bit, but eventually it was fine.
Recently, I've been experimenting with washing my hair every three days. The first week my bangs were getting greasy by the third day, but they've started being reasonable (and even fluffy) lately.
So I think I might continue this and maybe even try going to four days between washes if my hair seems cooperative. My hair has been nice and soft lately with less washing. Also, not washing my hair saves me some time in the morning (plus no wet hair on the way to the bus stop).
