back in town.

i'm back in one of my favorite places in the world. O'henry's coffe in homewood, alabama. (mad props to emily nelms for introducing me to o'henrys)

i just finished watching a friend be a movie star in the sidewalk film festival. she was great! i enjoy downtown birmingham a lot. i am really hoping that the redevelopment will give us back the downtown birmingham my grandma talks about. the one where anyone could just stroll downtown to shop, eat, walk around, and just enjoy the city.

i fit in well today both at the movie festival and the coffee shop; i look like a hippie. i like being a half-hippie, i feel original. maybe it's just a feeling, but regardless, it makes me happy.

i said something last night that i've said before, but it didn't really set in untill that time.

i guess i have too many other things going on. that's never stopped me before and probably never will.

i saw a short that made me want to cry today. it was really good. it's called "waiting". i don't know if you can look it up or not, but if you find it, watch it. also, "muckfuppets" was really good.

i'm sweating. in o'henry's. how appropriate.

i'm not crazy, but sometimes you make me crazy.

sorry for the broken stream of consciousness. i'm out.
