Uni and nursing

It's been like, ages since I posted here.

I've just had nothin' major to talk about that I see worth going in here. Don't worry, I'm never stopping Live Journal...lol. Well, at least not for a while.

I've been in Port for four weeks, as some of you may have already known. Been back in Coffs for almost a week. Prac was good. Got to do heaps of gross things :).

Uni is getting stressful, cos there's so many things I need to do right now. Not so much assignment-wise (although there is that small problem too...) but more the fact of applying to hospitals and stuff. And by the looks of things, it's actually quite hard to get jobs at places for your Post Grad.

I've got heaps of spare time at the moment, so I've been thinking about getting a job, plus it'd look better on a resume to have a job. Although I'm able to say that I have worked in the places I've done placement at, but it would be nice to have some money too.

Although nursing home jobs aren't all that great, and there's not much more option. I could probably get a job at Macksville, but that's heaps for to travel for work. I'd end up spending more money in petrol than what I'd earn.

I've been thinking maybe Baringa, cos there's at least one student I know who works there. But I don't know how to go about applying there, and I doubt my chances are high for getting a job there.

We'll just have to see how things go, I spose...
