Aw Orihime ;_; I don't think it's particularly emo for her. It actually reminds me of the scene where she's talking to Matsumoto about Ichigo and Rukia. It's an...understated (?) element of her personality, one she herself hates a lot, and probably wishes she didn't feel the way she does. Which I think you captured well in this. :)
