"My rock smashes your scissors, Naruto-kun," Lee said with a hint of pride, flashing a thumbs-up.
"Best two out of three!" Naruto shouted hotly, his face forming a scowl.
"But Naruto-kun, we agreed--"
"Best two out of three!" he insisted again.
Lee fixed a hard stare on him, then grinned. "A true ninja never turns down a challenge!" he said, positioning himself in the 'ready' position. Naruto shook his head for a moment before doing the same.
"One," Naruto said, eyes focused on Lee, as if that would help him guess what fuzzy brows was thinking.
"Two," came Lee's voice, heavy with anticipation.
"Three!" Naruto shouted, slamming his right hand down, flat, on his left one and grinning like a madman.
"My scissors cut your paper, Naruto-kun," Lee said, the sound of victory in his voice. Naruto stared at fuzzy brows' hand, whimpering in defeat.
"No fair!"
"We agreed that this was the best way to settle it, Naruto-kun," Lee said evenly, though he could not keep the wide grin from plastering itself across his face.
Naruto crossed his arms defiantly, huffing audibly.
"We both said that Gaara-san should be allowed the middle..." Naruto mumbled in agreement, "...and that this way, we would decide who is allowed the top," Lee finished matter-of-factly, and Naruto felt like hitting him for sounding so high-and-mighty about the whole thing. He clenched his teeth.
"Alright, but next time, it's MY turn."
