Lola Day
Hey everyone,
My cat Lola won local newspaper/magazine the Hill Rag's "Top Cat" in the pet contest. I submitted pictures of Lola, and Sophy submitted pictures of Mr. Kukaroo, who earned "Honorable Mention" in the category of "Fuzzy & Feathery." In retrospect, we should have taken a better picture of Kukaroo so that he could have won (duh, everybody realizes his star potential), but I'm happy that Lola can have her day. (After all, every Saturday, when we take him to Eastern Market, is Kukaroo's day.)

This is my proudest day as a father! Funny that last night I had not one but two dreams involving me being fatherly (with human children, however).
