It’s a night much like any other- cool, dark, crisp.
He stares into the indigo sky, cerulean eyes tracing the tinkering celestial patterns that interlace in the most peculiar yet beautiful way. His rough hands are shoved stubbornly into the loose pockets of his awkwardly orange pants; his fists clenched. The navy-black of the starry expanse reminds him of those eyes that mock him, taunt him, those eyes that were slipping further and further away with each passing day. He turns away, collapsing onto the moist, grassy turf and covers his face with despair.
It had been a day like any other- useless.
