bi-weekly update
hiya. how's it going? i'm probably going on slightly more than bi-weekly, but i don't care. :)
things here are ok. we've had two incidences of theft recently. neither of which was in our house, so that's good. but those incidences coupled with a story a patient of mine came in with yesterday have made me very paranoid about having a break-in.
my patient had someone break in to their house while they were sleeping (dog didn't bark) and steal all their electronic equipment AND all their christmas presents. i don't wish bad things on people, but i'm close to changing my tune in regards to thieves. i hate them. i don't understand how a person can live with himself when he takes things from other people. and should i ever catch one on my property, woe unto them. especially if i have a bat. better yet, the fubar.
anyway, other than that, not much happening. finished christmas shopping the other day, minus the ornament exchange my family does. work is going alright, although i'm not absolutely committed to working there. if something better comes along, i'll have no problem packing up and going. actually, one of my teachers emailed me a few days ago and told me the spa she manages is looking for someone and she wanted me to apply if i was in the market. if it wasn't near the galleria, i would. but with the 64 shutdown coming so soon, i have absolutely no desire to drive over there all the time. bleh.
i have the song "i want a hippopotamus for christmas" in my head. i'll be pleased when it's gone.
