Hey! This one goes out to any MMLers out there who found the link on my profile. There's no blurb spot on MML to put in personal notes, so I guess this will just have to do! ;D
As mentioned in my profile, Dayever got me started in this place. Blame her for anything I do. Vote for her while you're there.
Since then, several people I know joined in. My son, my daughter, a good friend of mine, and my roommate. I've met quite a few really good people while in there, as wellLina, cherubic little Bibi, and quiet, passionate Xyna. While I'm at it, I want to hand out honorable mentions to Leah for her unbelievable upbeat spirit (and good looks) and MMP (whom I name as such because I can't pronounce her display name that well) for her equally bouncy but more zany attitude. It has really broadened my horizons to chat with all these people.
When you send a friend request, I first go and look at your homes. So if you hide your homes to make them friends-only, it really ticks me offI want to look at you first! I have only turned away two friend requests, for purely aesthetic reasons (their names and/or display pics had material in them too offensive for my children). So I will probably add you, regardless, but it can take some time if you have a lot of homes to look at.
Don't send me invitations to any organization. Just... don't. I don't want to join in any contests, or be part of some clan. I do enough of that in real life. Besides, Rainbow County's description makes my skin crawl, not to mention they were rude to one of my friends. If you notice my list of links, you'll realize I have something of my own little neighborhood, anyway.
Why don't I have any pics of ME as my display pic? Try looking in my photo album. You'll find me right there. I ain't pretty. You were warned...
I love exchanging messages and chatting. It's great. However, I only speak two languages: English and bad English. Please be patient with me if English is not your primary language. Using lots of cultural slang or "text message" style writing will also slow me down as I try to interpret your meaning. Expect some "I don't understand" messages from me when that happens. On the good side, I'm a fast learner. =)
Hm... I'll bet the people who never answer my hello messages when I send or accept friend requests will never come out this way. Let's find out. YOU ARE ALL MONEY-GRUBBING BUTTHEADS! YOU CAN'T ANSWER A SINGLE FRIGGIN' GREETING? LOSERS!!! Heh heh.
