And then this morning... I read my response commment!!! And it rocked my world... and these past couple of days I needed my world rocked!
So here's her comment...
Lauren Murphy...ah...what to say about Lauren Murphy...save for the fact that I never would have gotten into any trouble with UNA if it wasn't for you. Bad influence, that's what you are. Some of my fondest memories of my last year in FL came from you, and I honestly think we need to go to NYC again just to get shitfaced so I can help 'move you back and forth'. hahaha. That will never be unfunny.
You are a strong girl, one who's been through hell and made it out okay (and I'm not talking about your stint as a sorority girl). It was great to have another 'yankee' around, even if you did make my accent worse. I am glad to have met you, and even more glad that we stay in touch. I love that we can talk about random shit (like the speed of sperm) yet can still do the 'cry on the shoulder' thing if it's needed. You always seem to know what to say and when, and when to just not say anything which is a skill many people don't have.
And to continue the sappy streak...you are a beautiful person inside and out. You don't take shit, you tell it like it is, but you don't purposely stir up trouble unless someone is dishing it out first. I love that about you (maybe that goes back to the whole 'yankee' thing, lol). I know that if I ever needed room to breathe I could randomly take off to Orlando or Boston or wherever you were at the time and you'd gimmie a place to stay for a bit and be a good friend and that means a lot.
