I wasn't planning to, but ended up watching the pilot episode for
Nikita (2010). I'll probably add it to my late night viewing list.
However, I really have to stop comparing it to the original. Anyone who has ever seen (and loved) Roy Dupuis' Michael may find Shane West's version somewhat lacking. And Maggie Q is okay, but I still love Peta Wilson in the title role.
On the plus side, Melinda Clarke's Amanda is fabulous and has the potential to be much the way Alberta Watson's Madeline was - an often underestimated adversary, a deadly one.
So, as long as I can try to view this show as a whole other show with no real connection to the series I loved, we'll probably get along okay.
What can I say...I have a weakness for beautiful dangerous women. *snicker*
