new tv season
Not that I'm going to have a whole lot of opportunity to watch a lot of shows, but...
Shattered is one I'm making every effort to both watch and record. I'm a fan of Callum Keith Rennie, so it was a given that I'd tune in for at least the first ep. I'm hooked. It is violent, disturbing but oh so interesting to watch CKR's detective character struggle with multiple personalty disorder and remain functional. CKR's chaacters are not always lovable, but they are always watchable. Sadly, there will only be 10 episodes. :(
I'm not quite sure what to think about the upcoming show Lost Girl. The first ep airs Sunday night. It is a supernatural show centred on the struggles of the lead character, Bo, who is a succubus trying to live amongst humans. There are other fae creatures, both good and bad, and the whole thing could be...interesting.
Returning shows I'm planning to watch:
~~ NCIS Los Angeles and Criminal Minds are definite must-see.
~~ White Collar will be a viewing must if I can find a reliable channel that airs this in my area. I may have to try for DVD set for season 1 so I can watch the eps in order.
~~ NCIS, Supernatural, and CSI:NY are on an ep by ep basis. I haven't liked character development in NCIS or CSI:NY, and the myth-arc in Supernatural was a disappointment last season.
New shows I may or may not check out:
~~ At least the first ep of the new Hawaii Five-0. Both Mom and I are curious to see what the new version looks like.
~~ Chase could be fun. It rather depends on how the female lead is portrayed. But I'm willingn to give it a shot.
~~ I'm undecided about The Event, The Cape, and Body of Proof.
