the furniture saga continues
So. I waited all day Saturday and no furniture. I called the store on Sunday and chatted with the manager. "Oh? They picked up the chairs. You should have them."
Yes. I know.
This morning the manager calls back and says the manager of the delivery company will call me to arrange delivery. The call finally arrived late in the afternoon. Seems the delivery guys did show up on Saturday. But all they had was the suite number, not a name or phone number. And the security entrance simply lists names and code, not suite numbers. So they didn't know who to call.
Like, the caretaker, maybe... But I digress.
Anyway. Furniture is supposed to arrive tonight. After 6:30 but before 9pm.
Right. I believe. Truly.
Everyone has been thanking me for my patience in this misundertanding. Pfft. If I thought for one minute that pitching a hissy would fix things, I would.

Those chairs better be as lovely as I remember them being. From two months ago...
