Job Description
Well, basically in all sense of the word it is telemarketing. But it’s very different then what most of you have worked. This telemarketing is done B2B (business to business) which means you won’t be bugging people in their homes and very rarely will someone ever be rude to you. Sometimes they may seem I bit hurried or rude but that’s only because you caught them at a bad time. The best part about this job is you will only be working from 9-5 which means you will have your nights free in the summer to chill. Currently the best days to call will be Monday to Thursday but Friday still is available but it’s probably best to just stick with Friday morning. Now there are 2 options for where you will be working and it can either be in our office/ home or you can simply work from home - we will not give you long distance #’s
Who you’re working for
You will be working for my brother and I but more specifically WSI Internet Consulting and Education. We develop web solutions, flash media, internet marketing, but really anything that has to do with the internet such as e-learning and web conferencing, as well as our new service video email. We have 1100 offices around the world in over 87 countries and we not only have a unique approach to delivering solutions but we have proven systems, strategies and a large support network of best practices. We have developed thousands of websites since the company started in 1995. This company is a franchise so my brother and I own this local office. Who we’re looking for
We need individuals who have great communication skills, are not afraid to talk to people over the phone, and are confident in speaking. You do not need to have previous telemarketing experience but if you do then that’s even better. You will also need the ability to come up with some on the spot objections, which we will help you with, but we can explain this later. I know its telemarketing and you think you can’t learn anything from it, however, business communication skills is definitely something they do not teach you in school and all of you will learn this when you get out into the real world. I have skipped the text book bullshit and gone right into the school of hard knocks as they say, and has been quite the learning curve. I guarantee you will learn valuable skills and be able to communicate effectively. This will help you in the future.
How will you be paid
Well this is the part we’re most of you will stop reading but pay is done PER lead/appointment booked. Why is this? Well right now my brother and I do not have the cash flow to pay people by the hour but more so we are doing this for motivation purposes. Starting at $15 per lead if you are serious about this job then you will get better at booking appointments. If you are booking us appointments regularly then you will be able to make up $40 per lead. Again we are doing this because we do not need to hire a bunch of people who are going to take their time calling and not produce results.
