in attempt to procrastinate from working on my sports psych paper...i felt like i should write a little summary of my day...i would have to say this was the most weirdest and exhilarating 24 hours in a LONG time.
went to ifc meeting as usual at 11...went to the cross to volunteer as usual (saw mei-ling! she's so cool!)...at the cross, i saw my KCM poster friends (i've only met them twice now...but we always make posters at DOS at the same time...so we always smile every time we see each other.), talked w/ endo, sabs, kris, minhas, joey, bur, and i can't remember what the other gal's name is (my bad!)...^_^;;...BUT! i did meet lindsay/lindsey who's a DG and another admin intern...such a nice gal!!! then i saw my ring road partner lizel while putting up posters (lizel! remember when we always bumped into each other every week last spring?!)! after volunteering...went to the housing office...had fun w/ all of the office gals, as usual!...AND THEN! THEEEEENNNNN...
best part! i went to the pub for a soda...i go outside to smoke (yes, yes, i still do it...i'm cuttin down for sure tho...i use it very sparingly)...and this gal comes up to me...she's such a lovely gal...her name's sue, 3rd year, from atlanta, commuter, was at the pub for a late lunch...anyway, she asks me for a cig, and of course i give her one...then i invite her to chat...we talk up a storm for about 10 minutes, but at 3:52, i tell her i have to run b/c i was supposed to meet up w/ mex and xio for biochem discussion.
i leave to find hannah walkin into the student center, so i give her a hug! and i find kathy and kamran sittin at a table...and so i tell them about sue...and kamran says, "did you ask her for her number?" and i replied with, "what?! am i supposed to do that?"...and then kathy and kamran give me a lecture and get me pumped to go back up there and ask her for her number, all the while kathy's talkin w/ mike on the phone, and he's like i'll be right there...but i don't wait, i zip back up to the pub...and look out the balcony, to find that she's on the phone!...i run back down and say "she's on the phone! NoOooOOoOoo...."
kathy responds by encouraging me to write a note to her...sayin somethin like "i see that you're busy on your phone, but you made such a great first impression on me, that i just wanted to give you my number" and so i write the note...and olivia says maybe you should put "hit me up...###-####"...but kamran's like, "no that's not cool"...but i had already written Hit...and i'm like oh shit! so i write, THiS is my number ###-####...it literally looked like THiS, b/c the s covered the t. i'm like dancin at this point...and they say go! and i'm like okay! but i turnaround, and i see the back of sue!!!! so i'm like holy shit guys! that's her! and for like 40 seconds they're like gogogogogogo! but i'm juss startled/frozen...but i eventually run up to her, and give her the note...and she smiled and said thanks!
and that was that...my 1st girl adventure! i'm giving her a week! olivia also had subway boy...but that's a story that she should tell herself (b/c it's just as GREAT!)...;D...major eProps to lizel for being such a movie star!!! i' was sad to hear about your corolllla! =(
i go to bio w/ daves and xio...such a great combination! and we learned about the penis and gametogenesis...so the next time you think about rollin out your seminiferous tubules, think again, b/c they're really 6m long.
