how much white-guy comedy rap can you take?
last night alex and i went to the mc chris show to hang out with bucky, who was doing merch. i haven't been to a show that nerdy or like, "concert"-like in a while. dudes in novelty t-shirts were asking bucky if they could pay for merch with a credit card.
the first 'band' we saw called themselves "emo rap" and were dressed up in bike helmets, shortsleeved button-up shirts and ties (mormons? retards? both?). we only stuck around long enough to talk it up with bucky and see a couple of mc chris's songs, at which point i realized that i apparently didn't get it so we left. despite all the nerds and stupid rap, it was great to see bucky and hear some of his crazy stories. as an added bonus, i sold him a bunch of distro stuff and got a smooch on the cheek.
in other, similarly nerdy news, both bco AND vlv are down, which is sure to make my work day today fucking stupid. maybe instead of wasting time on messageboards and not doing work i will do some homework and not do work. i've gotten really behind on schoolwork this week, and since all the final projects are coming up, it would be in my best interest to get caught up soon.
