Shameless Non-Contemplation

Oct 26, 2004 19:52

I've been trying to write some deep, meaningful entry about life; love; Man's desire to travel (or not) to the moon and elsewhere; Schroedinger's Cat; Searle's Chinese Room; the effects of "mental illness" and/or illicit drugs on art; the uses and implications of mirrors, the dog, and the bathrobe and the Identity of the Self in the film Secret Window. However. My mind is too full of the physics of the 92 mile per hour fastball, the merits of Half-Baked versus Uncanny Cashew, and the Jell-o displacement of a 1.78m human body in a bathtub and what flavour/colour he'd prefer.

Instead, you get the Shameless Self-Promotion post. Feel free to skip farther down your flist if you so desire. On November 3rd, I'll be guest starring on the WB show Smallville as the villain Mikail Mxyzptlk, incognito as an exchange student. November 19th I'll appear on Grounded for Life. Sometime in November, filming wil start in New York for the film Awake, which stars Jared Leto. "While undergoing open heart surgery, a man's failed anesthetic leaves him completely alert, but paralyzed and unable to tell his doctors." Jeremy Sisto and Edward Furlong are some of the others also in the film. It should be a fun one to work on.

The Red Sox need just one more win to win the World Series.
