Fairy, faery, or fey: how do you refer to them?
In other news, I've decided to climb Mt. Evans this summer, and my sister wants to come. While I'd love her company, I'm a little worried about her propensity for altitude sickness. Still, if she's game, I'm not going to tell her no. I will pack plenty of water, aspirin and sunscreen though. I wish there were some way to help her acclimate before she comes to visit, but I've never heard of a trick to doing that in less than two weeks and sadly, she doesn't have that much vacation. Ah well.
My latest unfinished story remains unfinished, but I enjoyed the characters while they lasted. After having about a thousand crises of conscience over never finishing anything, I decided that saying 'to heck with it' and writing anyway was more enjoyable than not bothering. There's something about imagining scenes and jotting them down that just makes me feel content. It's a bit like telling stories to myself, but even though they come out of my own imagination, I'm never really sure how they're going to go until I write them down. A friend of mine says this proves there's more than one person in my head (the storyteller and the storytell-ee), but I figure there are worse things one could have occupying one's brainspace. XD
