Technicon
I just caught myself noting down some button-worthy material, which reminded me that I have yet to mention this publicly: I won't be able to attend Technicon this year. This is not, for the record, because of the con's many and well-documented issues. The main reason is that two of my coworkers had declared that they wanted time off that very weekend before I got around to claiming my own time. Admittedly, some of those other issues probably distracted me from putting in for the time sooner, but that's not quite the same thing.
I am sorry I won't be able to see everyone this year, though. On the other hand, this means I don't have to decipher Tech's on-campus traffic and parking situation.
