I own these two pairs of shoes now...
But it is too cold and wet to wear either.
Hopefully soon?
The strikes are things I already got off this holiday list for my bday (which we celebrate at Thanksgiving), how neat!
Knives - For chopping veggies/meats/fruits, I have one large kitchen knife and its fairly dull. Any big good kitchen knife would work.
A blender - mostly for drinks/smoothies, I know blenders (even good ones) can be hit or miss in terms of life and reliability, so one that comes with a warranty or can be returned to a chain store we have here would be best (meijer, target, best buy, bed bath and beyond, macys, carsons, sears, jc penny)
A good medium size thermos - for transporting hot FOOD. I have a great coffee mug, but I want something to bring soups/chili in
self stable foods - light soups, wheat pastas, jarred tomato-base sauces, cereals (low cal stuff, like kashi, kix, wheat chex... that sort of junk), canned vegtables like peas and creamed corn
THESE AMAZING PAIRS OF SHOES: Aldo's earlie, in red.
http://www.aldoshoes.com/us/women/shoes/sport-fashion/69212829-earlie (Okay, I didn't get these for a present, but since I got the pair below I assumed nobody else in my family would buy me shoes, my sister confirmed, so I finally spent the money on these myself. But by the time I did it they were only 27 bucks (after tax and ship and all), so really, it feels like A PRESENT)
Aldo's Mandie, in fuschia

Earrings! I let my gauged holes shrink to normal size but I don't have any normal size earrings. I like simple, fun things, not necessarily fancy things. Like colorful stars or dangling cats. Hooks that clasp, or have a little rubber backer, are best, posts might still fall out as that the holes are smaller but still have a lot of stretch.
