This morning I had developmental psych at 8:30, and that heinous hour is bettered by the fact that Patti and Sheila and I all have it together, so we eat breakfast before and walk over at approximately 8:39. As sleepy as I am in the class, the teacher is this really cute cbg and is very into it so by the time she starts talking I wake up. Today she was talking about this guy she used to know in college, and how he was so hot but didn't see himself as such because of a formative event in his childhood. After she used him as an example, she wondered aloud if he still saw himself in a negative light...then proceeded to say, "Every now and then I google him, just to see what he's up to." We all cracked up and she indignantly goes, "Hey! You know you do it too!"
My biopsych lecture was later, at 11:30, and that is with the prof who reminds me of Stephen Colbert for his comedic timing. Well, today, we're talking about the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems, and he goes, "For instance, if you saw a bear, you would wet yourself." And then proceeded to tell stories about how bears are scary. So I therefore conclude he is Stephen Colbert's long lost brother.
In other interesting news, three men were arrested in front of the Marth yesterday. Patti, Paula, and I were watching a movie when Anna came in and asked if we knew what was going on. There were four police cars and three guys in handcuffs sitting on the steps of the building. Obviously we opened our window to try to hear what was going on, since we can easily hear drunk people's conversations at 3 am, we figured we could hear the po's too. Soon enough we had about fifteen girls in our room, all leaning out the open window. It was like a scene from a movie. We eventually discovered they were arrested for an assault outside the Union. They ended up with probably like seven police cars and an ambulance at the scene...very dramatic.
I'm off for a run, hope life's grand for you, whoever is reading this. :)
