Well, It's a Wonderful Life gets me every time. I love hearing everyone praying for George in the beginning. I've been wondering lately, how much of our silences are filled with prayer? Wouldn't it be cool to hear? It also is just such a great reminder to be thankful for the simple things. Like friends. "Remember, no man is a failure who has friends," Clarence writes. And it's so true. This break has made me realize how very blessed I am. From the times spent with people I haven't seen since summer, to times spent praying together, to times with the people I feel most home with, to nights spent in my dark basement talking til three, I am so thankful for everyone who's made an impact on my life.
