Another Video
Just uploaded another pedestrian film to YouTube... Greg had to do some stuff for class at the Natural History Museum, which is, in my estimation, the single most disappointing museum in the world. It's so boring. So freakishly boring.
It doesn't have to be boring, of course, but it works hard at boring the shit out of everyone.
It is dark, as if they hope to induce slumber.
It is the almost exact temperature one wishes of a bedroom.
It is quiet and somber and peaceful.
And I hate the goddamn dioramas. Everything in the place is either stuffed or made of latex, including the security people.
Anyway, here's the vid. I used 'Beautiful Day' by U2 because, 1) it was the right length to fit the edit and 2) it truly was a beautiful day.
Should you watch the video, you'll see: Lucy's bones, Greg taking notes, the Star of India, a walk down 81st St., lunch at Brother Jimmy's--which is a bbq place full of Southern hospitality (New York style... we got free shots from the manager after Greg played his 'concierge' card), and a pointless few shots of the subway. I really wish I had a real camera and not a small, crappy camera stuck into my laptop. But enjoy.
