WE DID IT!
WE finally got my manager out of the store. She had her review on Monday, and so they fired her there. I talked to her after though..and she said she's great.. and she can collect unemployment from them...or whatever. Plus she's planning some kinda lawsuit or something.. whatever.. so silly.
Anyways.. So..the store is going to be a bit krazy now. We have no assistant manager, no manager.. and a district manager that travels a lot and won't immediately put someone in the store. So.. we are going to be putting in a lot of overtime.. and getting major pay for it.. and its gonna be stressful..especially the closer it gets to christmas. Bleh. There isn't a manager they want to just put in the store ..so they have to go through a whole interview process for it and possible even hire someone from the outside. Its gonna be hard though. NO ONE wants our store. We are a million-dollar store.. so we are super super busy..especially this time of year. Plus we have to do a TON of hiring. We only have 4 shift supervisors, and we are going to be running the store.. and we are majorly short on baristas too. So.. if anyone needs a job.. and wants to give Starbucks a chance..Wolfchase needs ya.
I majorly burnt my hand today on some coffee. A barista filled up the cup all the freakin' way to the top.. and he was scared to move it..so..i was the brave shift supervisor who moved the coffee..and of course, it ended up spillin on my whole hand.. and it was freakin' hot. It still hurts. and that happend 12 hours ago.. grrr..
I went to the Jars of Clay show at the fair. It was pretty cool...i'm glad i ended up going. They played a great mix of old songs and new ones from a cd coming out in november i think. Anyways..it was fun.
I hear Rachel and Nath are having problems or something because she doesn't like the fact that I "get excited" and "get happy" when i see Nath..or when we work together.. because we have a lot of fun together. Whatever. Someone just needs to get over it and realize that Nath and I are going to be friends. Hopefully they will work everything out if they wanna stay together. I just don't wanna worry about losing nath as a friend because of rachel. That would be silly.
Tonite is karaoke... and I'm going! I haven't been in 2 weeks! can you believe that emily!? So..Deanna, Heather, Jonathan and I are going and its gonna be great! Plus i'm off work tomorrow from both jobs so i'm gonna spend the night with Deanna and we are gonna sleep in and then play frisbee! It'll be cool to spend the day with Deanna.
Well..i'm gonna nap before i head out.
Oh yea.. i still haven't heard from Bagel. I doubt he'll call. He needs to get over it and we need to just start talking again.
