la la ..where to start..
Nath told me a couple days ago that he still hasn't decided about the whole getting back together with rachel and not being my friend issue... that was a couple days ago.. so i'm not sure what they have talked about since then. I told Rachel that even if her and Nath got back together..i still wanted to be his friend...and i still wanted to hang out with him. So..of course she didn't like that.. but i was sure to let her know i didn't think it was cool to be in a relationship with him and then I couldn't be his friend anymore. Anyways.. i'm sure they are dating now. They are arriving/departing together and stuff. Oh well. I'm sure it will all work out. I asked him to hang out with me once and he said no.. so..maybe he really can't hang out with me.. or maybe he was actually busy.. I would hope he would tell me if he couldn't hang out with me anymore instead of hiding it and just blowing me off..
que sera sera.
I've been doing the administrative assistant gig a couple days a week with philip, the financial advisor. Its pretty cool. I've always wanted an office job..and its a great job to balance out the kraziness of starbucks. Plus i get to dress up and be all professional-like and bring starbucks to the office! So..i'm pretty happy with it.
This weekend I went to the casinos with Heidi and Jason. She got free tickets to see a Comic Hypnotist. It was pretty cool. I dunno about the whole "hypnotizing" stuff though..he was telling the volunteers it wouldn't work unless you had an open, creative, imaginative mind. aka...when i tell you to do this.. you do it because you are acting with me for the show..not because you are hypnotize.. anyways..it was pretty funny though.
Last night was the Big Bad VooDoo Daddy concert at the Botanical Gardens. It was SO much fun. The tickets were $30..which sucked.. but it was worth it though by the end of the show. There were TONS of people there. It was an older crowd, and i think a lot of them just had season passes for the whole "live at the garden" event that went on all summer. In the front there were a ton of tables set up that were the expensive expensive seats. And then in the back EVERYONE else had chairs and blankets and coolers..i'm talking about like 95% of the people at the show had chairs, coolers and blankets. So people are drinking wine and beer, and enjoying some food and stuff. They also had a dance floor set up in the middle and the front so people could swing dance! Needless to say..Bagel and I busted some of our old swing moves from '98. It was great fun. Some random guy asked me to dance too and taught me a few steps. It was loads of fun! The last time i saw them play was probably at least 5 years ago at Musicfest. The dempseys opened for them..and they were amazing too! they have SOO much talent and put on an amazing show. I'll definitely be "swinging" by Elvis Presley's Memphis to see them again. Ahh.. it was a blast.
Tomorrow i have a starbucks shift meeting and then a starbucks party that night. starbucks parties usually are a ton of fun until the borrowed partners don't actually show up for the shift and then half the people have to go back to the store and close. maybe this time we will actually get devoted borrowed partners. plus tomorrow night is neils... so i might be headed that way depending on how the party is going and stuff.. i have to open on thursday morning though..so.. maybe it wouldn't be a good idea. but Heather said she would sing next time...and thats definitely worth going!
I'm thinking i need to take a trip to see Emily in late September or Early or Mid October..before it gets to the super busy christmas season at starbucks.
our fall merchandise came out today.. pretty cool stuff.
My brother is driving down to Texas with some friends this weekend to see Ben Folds. They grow up so fast... hah.. I still can't believe he's already 19..and going on road trips and everything. thats awesome.
Uhm..i guess thats about it..
