++++++O great internet, please grant me answer to the questions that plague me in life. Who is better off? Peter Parker for whom the universe seems to be a great machine designed to torment him, or Samurai Jack, for whom the universe really is a great machine designed to torment him?

I'd say Peter Parker, as he occaisonally gets to go out for a burger and fries. I get the feeling Samurai Jack hasn't seen a good sushi joint in a long time. ;)

but... Samari has a clean conscious. Peter is always tomented emotionally by feelings of inadiquacy and fear for his loved ones. Jack has the serenity of the uncarved block. And has yet to find a problem that cannot be resolved by the suitable application of magic sword.

That, and I'd rather have the basket hat and slippers and robe than the crotch-riding-up red underoos.

I seem to remember something about his girl getting amnesia and melting into a puddle of water. Could be hard on Parker's sanity.
