BUSES = EVIL (even though they help save the environment and all that)
I HATE EGGED. I HATE THEM SO MUCH.
All right, fine; they're not actually worse than any other public transportation (aside from MTA and PATH, which I want to MARRY), and I guess they're better than NJTransit. But they're currently the only public transportation system giving me a headache.
Why can't buses just consistently come at the same time every day? How is that too much to ask for? It's not as if there's any traffic at 6:15 in the morning to slow them down. What the heck? People depend on you to get to work on time, you know.
This is the third bus line that has let me down since I moved to this city. The first bus I took worked for a long time, but then it started coming seven minutes later every day, so I switched to a different bus, which after about a month completely stopped coming at all. I had so better not need to change my route again or I will think scathing thoughts in Egged's direction.
On a related note, have you ever noticed that while you're waiting for a bus, there are always thousands of taxis passing by, but when you finally give up on the bus and try for a taxi, there's only one every ten minutes?
