I have got to stop talking like Junie B. Jones--it's getting ridiculous already.

Guess what? I made chicken soup for the first time in my life on Friday. And guess what else? It wasn't even bad. Only wait 'till you hear the best part! And its name is Talia and David even took seconds!

All right, now I'm going to stop talking like a fictional "almost six"-year-old. (For now.)

Shabbat day, I went to the normal shul next door to The Great Synagogue and then for lunch went to la casa de joshbrown and mick_hale, as they were kind enough to invite me over. I went home after lunch and I meant take a maybe two-hour nap, but when I woke up I saw that it was dark outside and it was about three minutes until the end of Shabbat (Good timing, Me!).

So here's my latest crisis: Three or so weeks ago, I asked my aunt if I could go to her for Shabbat sometime, and we decided on this upcoming weekend, forgetting what weekend it was. She lives in a small not-quite-town without any bookstores, and it's about an hour and a half drive from Jerusalem. They're Harry Potter readers, but the kids only speak Hebrew, so they'll probably wait until the Hebrew version comes out (which won't be for a while) in order to buy it. Which means that I need to get back to Jerusalem before the bookstores close. Actually, in general, I don't think the bookstores in "town" are open at all on Saturday nights, but they all have HBP posters up, so I'm assuming they'll be open this week. I just have to find out what time they close. Because I don't want to have to wait all the way until Sunday afternoon!
