So, it seems this year is a growing trend for commiting suicide, as I have mentioned in my previous post. Alexander Mcqueen's death has only made this point seem more valid. My all time favourite and most inspiring designer, with a STUNNING Spring/Summer 2010 collection, took his own life on the day his Fall collection was supposed to be seen as part of New York Fashion Week. Such a sad, sad story, but I guess it's not so shocking, especially with the death of Isabella Blow and Dahl Kim who he deemed to be his 'inspiration' only days before she was found hanging in her Parisian apartment back in November.
RIP Lee Mcqueen, you truely were inspirational. I hope you're in a happy place now.
