Sick Drama Llama

So, as I'm sure everyone is now more or less aware, I'm no longer single. I've been seeing Charlotte, aka Charlie for about a month now, and everyone has had a positive reaction to me bringing her around.

I'm working on my computer last night, sending out some game emails, figuring out how maaagic works in Changeling, and chatting with a couple of people.
Charlie's sitting on the couch, doing pretty much the same thing on her laptop, and the TV is on, making some background noise.

Suddenly, an IM window pops up, the screenname is a random collection of letters, and one of the weirdest, angsty, threatening-to-be-emo conversations ensues.
With Charlie's ex. Who wants to get on with his life, but can only do so if he gets all his special stuff back.
My place in all of this: I should tell my girlfriend "to snap the fuck out her mood" so he "can get on with his life by doing the best he can to forget the last year of his life".

I told him I had no interest in changing my girlfriend's mood, since around me...it's a wonderful mood.

And then he started making threats...pathetic emo threats, but threats nonetheless. Like going to the police because she had his dice bag...or something else as high school. Or to bring her mother in on this. I believe there was a "make her regret it" somewhere in there.

I told him, nicely, that he should feel free to contact the police, and her mother, and that if he would give me a list, I'd pass it along to Charlie. After whining about the injustice of it all, I got a list. Dice, some CDs, and a leather jacket I think were the biggies.

But, all things considered....I don't enjoy people threatening people I care about.
Apparently, he's also all hot under the collar to pick a fight, so this ought to be entertaining at the very least, because as far as I'm concerned, my self-restraint regarding verbally flensing him is just about gone.
Though I may give him one of those nifty titanium razor blades so he can cut himself in despair for Chanukah.
