My dearest woman, you are a wonder. Truly amazingly gifted. I don't say these things in jest, or simply to be kind or generous. I am not that kind or generous and I never, ever jest about the beauty of language or the miraculous gift to be able to shape it, like newly blown glass, into something as gorgeous and shimmering as this.

This is beautiful. Simple. Lovely. As perfect as that dragonfly's wings and I thank you for it.

Please write me more River and Kaylee. I don't know anyone who does it so well and gifts should never be wasted.

Oh that's gorgeous! I loved the setting and you know immediately that's it's River at the beginning. Very pretty.

JJ from Criminal Minds. It's the new black over at passion_perfect. If you haven't already, you should read fewthistle's Criminal Minds stories; they're amazing. And you don't really need to know the show that well at all (although then you'll want to. She got me totally hooked.)
