Good News Bad News

I went to the bookstore today. I saw Candy Havens new paperback face out near the front of the store. :-) I looked for Rosemary Clement-Moore's book, but didn't see it. :-(
Daughter wanted Hello Kitty stuff to take for secret Santa, and I thought there was a store at the mall. Oops. Good news though, there is a Game Chest, so I bought me a Order of the Stick game. Hee, hee. Is it wrong to buy yourself Christmas presents?
Bad News too, son has a Destination Imagination scrimmage the same weekend as ConDFW, and without realizing that little fact, I voluteered to drive part of the team and stay for the DAY LONG event. Should I still go to ConDFW on Friday and Sunday?
