Another chance for me to try and brag about my crafting, ha ha:
So in my French III class, our teacher has each student make a quilt square about something French or Francophone. It's so she has something to remember our class by, since most of us are seniors. The only other year that makes quilts is French IV. I decided that instead of making a felt Calypso(Jacques Cousteau's boat), I would do something Art Nouveau. My sister showed me this picture ages ago because she wanted to make a photo of it, and my hair is long enough.
I really loved the picture and remembered it when Madame said we had to come up with a sketch. After three days of intense cutting, pinning, glueing, and embroidery I created the fabric version of Cycles Perfecta, with my French name,
And yes, I did photoshop my name and the tire, they weren't there when I scanned it this morning.
P.S. I wish I could give it to you Jessie!!!!
Right now I'm eating some falafel. Its pretty gross. The people who made it obviously aren't skilled in the art.
