Moulton Falls (Sept 29)
Lisa picked the magical wonderland that is Moulton Falls this past week to visit. It has amazing charm I was not expecting!
Next time I'd pick the parking lot further up the road as it seemed more picturesque, but the lower lot is very near one of the falls. The rocks there have been eroded not unlike most ocean shorelines and was fun to negotiate.
The moss made the trees look as if they were straight from a fairytale!
I also appreciated the crazy wide paths, the abundant ferns and frequent railings.
But the highlight of the trip for me was the amazing falls on the northern side - really incredible sight.

But the bridges and stairways... just a work of art!
Still, this story would not be complete without a mention of the amazingly still and transparent water.
It's deeper than it looks though! Someone might have accidentally gone swimming as well!
