Working hard in Engineering. Colin climbs out from under the warp core assembly and moves to check his work on the panel on the wall.

While he looks, an alert light blinks.

What the hell? I wasn't working anywhere near that system!

He debates ordering a junior crewman to check it out, but, needing a break from the work under the warp core, he grabs his toolkit, and a phase pistol, and leaves to tend to it himself.

The turbolift doors open to dim lighting and silence. The section with the alarm going off is in a deserted part of the ship.

As Colin gets closer he hears someone working...

He quietly draws his phase pistol, making sure it's set to kill, before turning the corner...

"HOLD IT!"

*tries to collect the PADD and make a run for it before Colin realizes it's her...*
