[She's more than a little surprised when the chime rings, as she rarely get visitors aboard the Enterprise. Setting down the book she's reading- an antique one, printed on real paper to boot- she opens the door and is greeted by the sight of the ship's CMO.]

*He paused to politely incline his head towards hers, a hand lifting to gesture towards her quarters.*

[She's not entirely surprised he's here, but she hadn't expected him quite so soon, so the room's not at it's best.]

No, no. It's quite alright. When you've roomed with a certain fleet Captain in th' academy, a general mess feels like yer in the Ritz. *He paused then as he walked through, heading towards the seating but not yet taking it. He simply stood, hands going behind his back.*

I've spoken with Jim. He has a request I'm curious ta see if yer privy to as of yet?

I'm thinking she just got back from leave?

*He cleared his throat then, about to speak, before he cocked up an eyebrow in obvious surprise.*

This ain't Nurse Roberts' room. Is it?

Oh. Well. *He straightened then, lightly tugging on his uniform shirt to smooth out any creases.* I apologize for any disturbin' of yer evenin'.
