Silliest fight you've ever broken up?

Tonia looked over at him before taking another drink from her coffee mug. "Hmm. It depends. Silliest non-physical fight would have to be between my fearless Captain and the ship's CMO. She was running away from her physical and he was threatening to hypo her into the next light year," she said with a snort. "As for physical fight, that would have to be when I broke up two Ensigns, who were fighting over a plant because they thought it would give them...special powers."

Tilting her head, she raised an eyebrow. "How about you?" she asked.

As she tells him that, he finds himself snorting in amusement and puts down his own coffee before he ends up spilling it on himself. "Okay, don't think I've ever had to break up my captain and CMO like that," he said, shaking his head. "And special powers is pretty good. I'd have to say my silliest fight were two yeomen. One claimed that the other stole her panties for an officer. Turned out she'd 'accidentally' left them there herself."

"Ah, the ol' underwear fight," Tonia said with a laugh. It always amused her when the fights were over who was dating who or who was fucking who. It reminded her of high school, which made it even more amusing. "I think most of my on-board fights happen because people are jealous or they think the other person is stealing their significant other away."

"It's kind of amazing how many of those fights there end up being, especially when the ship's been out in space for a while. You think that Starfleet officers would be mature, but apparently, not so much." He picks up his coffee again and takes a drink. "I got to say, though, sounds like your captain and CMO are quite a pair."

"You would think. Even some of the older officers get into fights," Tonia said as she shook her head. She took a bite of her blueberry scone and smirked. "They are. But I have to admit having Jay as a Captain makes things really interesting. And the bickering she does with Leonard is pretty funny. We actually have a pool going to see who will catch them having sex in one of the storage closets."

Brian raises his eyebrows at that before shaking his head. "I wouldn't wait to have a pool going about my captain. The idea of him having sex with anyone...especially our CMO?"

He lets out a shudder.

"I can imagine serving on the Enterprise is interesting, though, especially after everything that happened."

"Sweetie, I've seen your Captain and I'm pretty sure he's asexual so you walking in on him is pretty slim," Tonia said with a laugh as she reached over and patted his hand.

Nodding, she finished off her coffee and leaned back in her chair. "It is, even though I wasn't there when all the stuff with Nero happened. I didn't join the crew until after Kirk officially became Captain. The party she threw was spectacular," she said with a snort. "I think that's when I knew being on the Enterprise was going to be very interesting."

"Well, thank all the deities of the Federation planets for that," he replied, snorting. There was something very disturbing about the idea of the captain with anyone.

As Tonia talked about serving on the Enterprise, he nodded. "I think I heard about that. Sounds like Kirk's reputation has been proceeding her too. I don't think there's anyone in the Federation that hasn't heard of her by now."

"I'm not surprised you heard about it. Rumors has it the police were called," Tonia laughed. "I left fairly early so I'm not sure if that happened or not."

And she had even asked the Captain about it, but she had no comment on the matter, which made Tonia believe it had really happened.

Wrapping her fingers around her now empty cup, she gave Brian a smile. "Any big plans for shore leave?" she asked him.

"I'm sure Command was thrilled about that if it's true," he said with a chuckle. It certainly seemed that the Enterprise was good about sending Command into a tizzy about something every once and awhile.

When she asked him about shore leave, he shrugged. "I haven't decided yet. I was thinking about doing something different, but not sure what. How about you? Where are you going?"

"I think Command is in a constant dislike of the Enterprise and her crew," Tonia said with a laugh.

When Brian said he had no plans yet, she grinned. "I'm going to be staying at my uncle's hotel in New Berlin. You should come stay with me. The suite has two rooms and I'm pretty sure Leo and Jay are going to stay there, too. At least I told them they should," she said with a soft laugh.

When Tonia invited him to stay with her in New Berlin, he found himself grinning. Shore Leave with her sounded like a great idea. "I'd like that a lot," he told her. "Although if your captain and CMO are staying there, will we catch McCoy chasing Kirk through the halls with a hypo?"

"Great. I'll call my uncle and tell him you're staying with me so he can put a few extra things in the suite," she said with a grin.

She then laughed at his question. "Maybe. But hopefully they'll have their clothes on when they do it," Tonia said with a giggle.

"Sounds great," he told her, looking forward to getting to spend more time with her.

He then laughed at her comment. "Is that actually a problem? Them running through the corridors without their clothes on, I mean?"

Tonia gave him a look before snorting. "If the rumors are true, there's a chance we might," she said as she finished off her coffee.

"Do you want to head over there now and check out the room?" she asked.

That caused him to raise his eyebrows. "Oh really?" he said with a laugh. "Should we make sure we have a PADD with us, just in case? Good blackmail material."

When she asked about going over, he nodded. "Sounds like a great idea." Standing, he held out his hand. "Shall we?"
