*laughs* How everyone's been acting lately, I've been beginning to wonder. *holds up the box of chocolates she's been saving for special occasions* Only if you have some too.

You drive a hard bargain. [takes a chocolate, noms] Mmmm. Happy Valentine's Day, Jan.

*takes a brownie* Happy Valentine's Day, Christine. I thought you'd have plans for the big day.

[nurse_cchapel]

Well... I do, but chocolate is still better.

It usually is. Less fuss and No hurt feelings if you say the wrong thing.

[nurse_cchapel]

Exactly. And no "Why are you baking brownies for other men?" Because I like brownies, jeesh. [rolls her eyes and laughs]

I didn't have that problem back home. I could always use my brothers as an excuse, but there was always the questions and no answer ever seemed to be the right one.

[furrows her brow a bit in confusion, and maybe a little concern] Hard questions?

*nibbles on the brownie* Not really, not for me at least. Most of the questions were based on insecurity or distrust.

Yeah, it seems like questions always are. [Gives her a smile] Thanks for the chocolate, by the way.
