Doctor Who Scarf: Day 02
Finally watched Avatar today. It was really good, actually. About 2/3 of the way through I found myself forgetting that Na'vi don't actually exist. I was like, "Oh, yeah, giant blue people. I totally see those every day!" From an animator's POV, it was spectacular. Their little ears were so expressive! Okay, so it's motion capture, but it's still pretty damn good. I expect nothing less from WETA.
Also watched Nine. I have no idea what it was about. The best part was "Be Italian." The sand was a really interesting visual effect.
Got the parental units to watch Firefly. I think they're hooked. :)
It's been really warm the last couple of days. I didn't even leave the house today. Hopefully it'll be a tad bit cooler tomorrow.
