My Dad is a Secret Fanboy
Went thrifting with the parental units today. My dad is such a secret Gene Hunt fanboy. No matter how many times he says, "Ew. :| " when Gene and Alex get all sexual-tension-y on Ashes to Ashes, I can tell he's a fanboy. (I think it's the kickass motors...) When we were in Goodwill today, Dad came over to me all excited and said, "They've got boots over there. Boots like the ones Gene wears!" I couldn't help but smile. I've brought him into the Cult of the Hunt where we worship at the Alters of Cortina and Quattro! LET THERE BE BOOZE!!!Mwahahaha! I may have had too much sugar today....
Went to the dentist today as well. Our old dentist retired to do the work of God or something and I met our new dentist for the first time today. No cavities as per usual. Hurrah! New dentist is nice. the office plays regular music now, not Christian rock. I didn't mind it so much because I'm never in there very long and nice Amy, the dental hygienist, talks pretty much the whole time, but there was that one time when I was getting tested for TMJD when I had to listen to the God-rock for an hour while electrodes shocked my face. That's enough to turn you off the stuff for good.
