A Sad Day for Trekkies (and Trekkers)
Majel Barret-Roddenberry has passed away. She will be missed.
It snowed! A lot! Like, six inches! School was canceled yesterday and today, so Break started early. Having Thursday off was nice, but I was sort of looking forward to Friday. We took Grandma to a follow-up appointment yesterday then went out to breakfast. In the afternoon/evening, I chilled at ~audiemay's house. We watched Hugh Laurie on SNL. 'Twas great!
I discovered a "new" show. Scrubs. I like it!
Grandma is finally going home today. Today is Day 11. We might go up to see Grandpa if the roads aren't too bad.
I watched the new Muppet's Christmas special on Wednesday night and it pissed me off. first of all, Uncle Vernon as Santa, WTF?! Second, all of Frank Oz's characters (Piggy, Fozzie, etc.) sounded weird because I don't think Mr. Oz works with the Henson Company anymore. THIRD and the most aggravating! Rowlf the dog! As a tribute to Jim Henson, they swore Rowlf would never speak again. He has appeared in more recent movies, but never spoke. HE SANG! SACRILEGE!!! *angrily stomps away*
