End of the first year at big Uni
And just like that, my first year at proper Uni is over. Most of my stuff has already been shipped home and I fly home myself this evening. I think I made a good choice coming out here. I think it's helped shape me as a person. It's definitely different here, but I don't think it's bad different.
I'm glad to be going home. I miss my parents. I'll be back out here for fall though. I've got two more years to go. I am getting a head start on a couple things. I was elected publicity director of one of the clubs and I can use that for the internship credit I'm required to have to graduate. Neat!
A passing note: The Avengers was everything I didn't know I wanted in a superhero movie. I very highly recommend it.
